I'm Swathi. Here are some nouns: illustrator, writer, crochet maker, mother twice over, and wife.

This is where you can read pages of my illustrated diary — a record of our move from Zimbabwe to Australia. You'll find sketches, comics, deep thoughts and the mundane, all of which add up to a life. My life.

Alongside the diary I'm working on other things: a picture book, some crochet patterns, and whatever comes next. Everything I make ends up in the shop.

I'm doing this because I believe that noticing and recording the little things is how we get through — and is a gift to offer others. Stick around, read some pages. Perhaps in hearing more about our lives, you'll also hear more of your own.
